Hannah Colmer is a graphic designer and based in Grand Rapids. She designs a wide range of media for both in house and freelance clients.
Using visually compelling pieces, Hannah provides aesthetically pleasing solutions that communicate efficiently.
Hannah was born and raised just outside Flint, Michigan and received her BFA from Grand Valley State University in 2017. She supplemented student design work with leadership opportunities and diversifying experiences during her tenure.
After several successful semesters of student design work, Hannah interned at a print company in Dublin, Ireland in 2016, where she gained experience about international design and the print process.
Immediately after college, she took a job in the Metro Detroit area at a digital agency, where her clients ranged from Fiat-Chrysler to local haunted houses. Hannah returned to Grand Rapids after that to work for Merrell - fulfilling a dream to work in the footwear/apparel industry. She provided key design services for the Merrell brand, working on trade shows, campaign launches, and complete store redesigns. Always up for a new challenge, she accepted an
in-house position at a Grand Rapids based fastener company in 2021.
Hannah enjoy working with people, and collaborating with others. Her diversity of professional experiences have made her a well rounded designer.
In her free time, she enjoys continued learning, traveling, running, and spending time outdoors.
